Default Divine Boon/Protection Monk

Do you guys think that Divine Boon works well with protection spells?

For example, when I cast reversal of fortune on a party member, the effect of Divine Boon heals them about 50 points, and reversal of fortune reduces the next damage that comes their way. In this way, I think it's a bit more efficient in the way Energy converts into healing Life points.

Also another question I have: Is the spell Guardian worth bringing? My monk has 15 protection prayers and this spell blocks 50% attacks and magical projectiles, but I mean it only lasts 5 seconds.

Anyway, Im still fairly new to this pure protection build.

I use a protection build right now, i haven't played it pvp but its main weakness is degeneration. If you throw a couple anti condition spells (mend condition (or the other condition healer spell) works great for pve to get rid of the pesky poison/bleeding/crippled damage.

Right now on my Mo/Me i run bane signet (for my random attacks/knockdowns of fighters aggroing me), inspired enchantment (its just a fun spell ), reversal of fortune, shielding hands, mend condition, energy tap, divine boon, and resurrect.

It works well for spike damage and shielding hands is good when a fighter is being mobbed by a group of small damage dealers. I dunno how well it would work in pvp though. Getting protective spirit would be a good addition, but its all up to you, and up to what your secondary prof is .

How do you like your Mo/Me? Is a Mo/Ne or Mo/Ele still better for general PVE?

I like Mo/Me because of Inspiration magic. I just beat the game with an Mo/Me

I play a PvP pro-monk and I allways use Divine Boon ( you forgot to add in the passive bonus from Divine Favor into your math it heals for much more than you may suspect) Guardian and Reversal of Fortune are also nice. The trick with a pro/mo is finding the right elite skill. I havent found one I love so I generally roll with Unyeilding Aura.
